Updated: Aug 24, 2021
As a new mum, I was overwhelmed by the love I felt for my child. However, as a "stay at home parent", I was surprised at the feeling of being "invisible" at a recent dinner party.
After having a successful senior management career, my contribution to conversations was often valued and respected but somehow this changed when I became a stay at home mum. So what happened? Returning to work is a big decision and there are many new considerations and challenges for parents.
You might need to redefine your "9am-5pm" work week, look at part-time, flexible working hours, starting your own business and childcare.
A Life Coach can help you navigate this transition, set goals, get job-ready, build your self-confidence, plan and ensure you look after yourself.
